South Africa

This will be the last travel/holiday post for a while! Its hard not to share these images! But, I know that January is the time of year that brides like to do their research.. so, after this one, we will get back to blogging weddings! Promise.
The last part of our trip away was spent in South Africa. We had about a week up in the Kruger National Park. We were extremely lucky.. and saw the "Big 5" animals (Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Leopard and Buffalo)... we were also fortunate enough to see Wild Dogs.... which are quite rare. It is amazing to think that Africa, whilst quite similar in appearance to Australia... has so many animals that would happily eat you for breakfast!
After Kruger.. we spent some time in Capetown. My eldest brother lived in South Africa for some years.. and still has property there. He was gracious enough to fly down from his home in London to spend the week with Jess and I (and our two good friends, Sheree and Noel). It is always great to have someone with local knowledge to show you around! Capetown is a beautiful place... that in many ways could be confused for any coastal city in Australia.
This collection of photos, on the whole, are showing South Africa in a way that most people may not have pictured.
Enjoy!
