Social documentary is a powerful way of using a camera. Jess has studied different aspects of sociology and social documentary. With this knowledge she created the body of work titled Fabricated Reality which is about the immense pressure society places on itself to measure up to unrealistic standards. We are constantly bombarded by all kinds of unattainable imagery and the reality simply does not match. This work was exhibited at the Logan Art Gallery, Qld
