The way we like to shoot

Jess has a Bachelor of Photography majoring in Photo Journalism, so its fair to say that this is reflected in how we shoot. We are not super posy photographers, we're not pushy - we're observant, laid back and fun to work with. The best photos happen naturally (with the occasional bit of curating - to help things on their way).

Generally speaking, we tend to end up working with couples that aren't very comfortable in front of the camera (probably because we don't like having our photos taken - we're sympathetic!). One thing we hear time and time again from our clients, is that we seem to be a "calming" influence on our brides - and thats what we love to hear. Calm brides are happy brides and happy brides take nice pictures!

What you get

Our coverage starts from the bride and groom getting ready, up until the start of the reception (we optionally offer photo booths and reception coverage if desired). After your wedding day, you will receive a disc that contains retouched high resolution files (no water marks and suitable for reprints) as well as low resolution files (that make it easy for emailing or uploading to FaceBook etc). We also include an online web gallery and ordering system. This enables you to easily share your photos with your family and friends - and gives them the opportunity to purchase prints if they so wish. The online gallery also includes a slideshow (set to music) which we also give you on DVD.

Wedding Albums

Our wedding albums are edge to edge printed flushmount albums and are beautifully hand crafted. As standard, all our albums come with 10 pages (20 sides) but you can always add more pages (almost everyone does!!). If you can dream it, you can most likely have it! Our albums are highly configurable. If you have wedding stationery or left over material from your dress, why not incorporate it in to your album? It really is incredible what you can do.

Miniture Albums

Everyone loves their wedding album, but sometimes its just not practical to carry it all over the place to show it off. Our miniture albums are the perfect solution. They are pint sized reproductions of your big album (weighing in at just 4"x4"). They are sooo cute you will want to eat it. They also come in packs of four - perfect! One for him, one for her and two to give away!

Parent Albums

Parent albums are the perfect way to say "thank you" to your mum and dad (or other loved ones). They are a beautifully sized 5x7" album that hold 10 photos as standard (you can always add more if you're having troubles choosing! And don't forget, each album can have a different set of photos). Perfect for carrying around in a handbag! Just like our wedding albums, there are almost infinite chooses when it comes to covers, colours and styles. 

Canvases and Prints

When it comes to photo prints, there is absolutely no substitute for quality. Our fine art prints are of the absolute highest quality and have to be seen to be believed. These are faithful reproductions of the original image and are printed on archival materials that will last beyond your life time. All of our prints are lovingly printed at a professional lab right here in Brisbane. 

The Photo Booth

If you thought photo booths were long gone... you are completely wrong - photo booths are back. Without a doubt, it is one of the most popular things we do. Every reception must have a photo booth - seriously! You can read more about our booths here.

Extended Reception Coverage

If the photo booth is not for you, then perhaps you would like us to stick around for the reception to capture the speeches and any other shenanigans that may or may not occur. Remember.. photos never (rarely) lie!
