On the day, you will get Jess and/or Steve to shoot your wedding. When we actually start is up to you, but, generally it is sometime around midday whilst you are still getting ready. As standard, we finish up after you enter the reception. In between all that, we’re available to do pretty much whatever you want.
Just so you know, we bring a bunch of fancy pants cameras and some even fancier lenses along with us… Our cameras have lots of megapickles and we know how to use every single one of them.
Oh, Jess even studied Photography at University – and has a Bachelor of Photography, majoring in Photo Journalism. What this means is – you are in capable hands.
Do we get our images on disc?
All of our packages (which start from $3695) include high res images on USB.
How long is your coverage?
We will start on the day whenever you want us there (generally around midday), and we finish up just after you have made your official entrance to the reception. As part of this, (where possible) we will do photos of the reception room, table settings etc
We optionally offer full reception coverage, and the PhotoBooth.
Do you have elopement packages?
Do you offer mid-week pricing?
Yes. We offer smaller packages for mid-week weddings (Monday-Thursday). Pricing starts at $1,795. Get in touch to find out more.
Do we get one or two photographers?
Two*! Jess and Steve will be there to photograph you on the day. The combined power of four eyeballs and super duper cameras will make sure nothing is missed.
* Mid week weddings and elopements include one photographer only.
Do you have a studio we can come and see?
Yes. We have a beautiful studio – and we would love to have you over for a chat and to show you some more of our work.
What kind of camera equipment do you use?
The really good kind. All we know, is that it cost lots of money! (we like Canon 5D’s and L series glass)
How long before we get to see our photos?
Within four weeks of the wedding.
Do you do interstate and international weddings?
Yes. We frequently travel interstate to shoot weddings – and we have had clients bring us to the Middle East and Africa to shoot their weddings. Let us know the details and we’ll be happy to discuss.
Can you stay for the entire day and for the reception?
Yes. In fact, we recommend having us stay. Many of the best “moments” happen during the reception. People are generally more relaxed, and they let their guard down (in front of the camera). Its a fun part of the day and it deserves to be captured.
How far in advance do we need to book?
We book out about a year in advance. We wont play any silly games, and pressure you into booking – we simply work on a “first in first served basis”.
The Photo Booth is the time for your guests to shine. Yes, we can cover all the standard sort of reception fare, but the Photo Booth is something else. Our booth is fully automagic, touch screen operated and prints out two copies of each photo strip (one for you, one for them). It’s fully awesome.
Firstly, it’s a way to keep your guests entertained during the quieter parts of the reception (in between meals, after speeches etc). Sure, they’re grown adults, but, even adults need something to keep them stimulated.
Secondly, you will end up with kick ass photos of your guests – in an atmosphere that is a lot more conducive to creativeness. People let their guard down in the booth… it’s definitely not just: “stand and look at the camera, please”.
Thirdly, our little chalk boards provide the perfect way for your guests to leave you a personalised message, drawing, sketch – whatever. People put a lot of thought into what goes on the board.
Brisbane Photo Booth Hire via our sister company, The Photo Booth Guys. Oh, what’s that you say? You live in London and want a photo booth? Good thing we’re over there too. London Photo Booth Hire, with The Photo Booth Guys UK. What about Sydney? Yep, we do Sydney Photo Booth Hire too!
Do you do corporate photo booth hire?
Is this an open style booth?
Yes. Honestly this works soooo much better than the closed in style booths. Its entertainment for people watching on… and the more people see what others are doing, the more ideas they get for themselves.
Do you offer instant prints (photo strips)
Yes! Guests get to keep a copy for themselves, and the other copy can be stuck in to the guest book we provide.
Is it fully automated?
No. We take the photos. The key to a good photo booth photo, is taking the picture at the defining moment… catching people unawares.
How long does it run for?
The booth runs for typically 4-5 hours (just depends on the structure of your reception)
How many people fit in the booth?
Comfortably? Up to 4 – but its ideal for a couple. More can squeeze in – but they may or may not actually be in the end photo!
Are props included?
We provide chalk boards, chalk and a duster. We find this provides the right amount of interaction (people put a lot of thought and effort into what goes on the chalk boards). Any other props are up to you.
Will people really use it?
We can’t recommend getting an album enough. In 40 years time, when the internet has been and gone… and iPads and iPhones are relegated to antiques in a museum – the only sure thing, is that you will still be able to look at your wedding album.
Even if you don’t appreciate that… your kids might… or their kids… or their kids.
Our albums are made by who we think are the two best album companies in the world. Our ArtBook come from VisionArt in the USA – and our super deluxo albums come from Queensberry in New Zealand.
These are things of beauty – which you can see in the album gallery.
How long after the wedding would we get our album?
If you can approve the designs in a timely manner… then you should get your ArtBook album within three months of the wedding, and your Queensberry within 4 months.
Whether you’re recently engaged or just a loved up couple we can capture natural, relaxed photos for you to remember this time in your lives together. Couple shoots include Jess or Steve photographing and also the edited high resolution images.

What should we wear?
Be yourself, and wear something your comfortable in… just try not to wear anything that may clash too much. Keeping it fairly plain and simple works well.
How long will the shoot go for?
Normally 1-2 hours.
Where will we do the shoot?
That’s something we will discuss with you. We are open to suggestions and we’re happy to make suggestions.
