Oh hey!

This is me, Jess - and these are my kids. They are my whole world. Sure, I love catching up with friends, a glass of wine and some time to run away from all the craziness and have some quiet time (doesn’t every mum dream of that at some stage!) But the things that truly make me happy are the big, squeezy cuddles, the stories told with big, excited eyes and the time we’re just doing nothing special. When we’re just hanging out at home.

Why?

Because I know the moments that are so very ordinary, will one day feel extraordinary.

I am passionate about documenting ordinary moments for families just like yours. I offer unscripted family photography + unposed newborn photography…

This is why…

It’s these moments in time we need to document - not forced smiles in matching outfits, looking up at a strangers camera.

As soon as I had kids of my own, I understood how important it was to document our REAL LIFE. Real moments. Real memories. Now, I don’t just photograph our own family, but Brisbane families and families all over South East Queensland. So they can also remember their everyday moments - for the rest of their lives.

Close your eyes. Imagine how it will feel when your little person is not so little anymore. When your home is a little quieter, when those little fingers holding yours are no longer there. Think about the parts of your life you want to remember forever… Perhaps it’s the way your kids laugh when they jump on their bed, or the way their eyes light up when you play superheroes with them. Or maybe it’s the way they look at you when you cuddle them at night.

What families are saying about me…

Jess has such a lovely natural candid style, so if you tend to feel awkward in front of a camera you’ll appreciate her gentle and unobtrusive approach. As a Mum of young kids herself Jess was totally understanding and unfazed when our little one was having an off day, and still managed to capture lots of beautiful memories while working around a lively little one year old.
