Albert River Winery Wedding
I think Michael & Marcela's Albert River wedding marked the start of our wet weather wedding run. We've probably gone on a bit about all the wet weather we've been having lately - and you could be forgiven for thinking that we're downers about it all. Not so at all - it's actually been a nice change to shoot in cloud cover (dodging the occasional drop of rain) - and in a way, it's kind of opened our eyes to see things a little differently.
Fortunately, some venues - such as Albert River Winery - are equally stunning in the sun or the wet, so, it really was no problem. Turns out also, they make some pretty awesome wines. Jess and I went out a couple weeks before the wedding to check it out, and what started out as a quick location scout, turned in to a rather long lunch and wine tasting session (followed by a wine buying session).
Anyway... onwards - these guys had all the details of the wedding down pat. From Michael's "watch innards" cuff links to the beautiful room at Avocado Sunset which Marcela got ready in through to their absolutely awesome engagement photos which were scattered through the reception room - it really was a picture perfect wedding. But, no surprises really.... Marcela runs the one wedding blog that brides to be must check out - One Stylish Bride - so, she knows all the tricks.
Of course no wedding is complete with out a photo booth, and photos of that will be coming soon. In the mean time... you can check out the "photo lounge" photos that we just posted.
