St Stephen’s Cathedral Wedding
A few weeks back we had the pleasure of shooting Simone and David's wedding. We started our day at the Treasury Hotel in what was one of the nicest (and biggest!) hotel rooms I have ever seen! Highly recommended for bridal preparations. Special mention to Roberta from Green and Bloom Flowers who did the beautiful bouquets.
The ceremony was at St Stephen's Cathedral - which is (in our opinion) also one of the nicest churches in Brisbane. I think it was a bit of a treat for the guests to spot Simone's red shoes as she walked down the steps at the Cathedral. After the ceremony we headed to the Roma St Parklands for a few photos.
For those of you that have been there, you would be familiar with the abundance of frill necked lizards (and bearded dragons) - so, it was rather amusing to hear David's antipodean groomsmen constantly refer to them as "crocodiles". Yes, in Australia, we let baby crocodiles roam free in the park and when they get older, we transfer them up to North Queensland and the Northern Territory.
I guess they don't have lizards in Europe - or crocodiles.
